The Canyoning Waterfall Rappelling and Rafting combo is one of the most complete adventure experiences available in La Fortuna. Offered by TropiExplore in alliance with Pure Trek, this full-day tour brings together two of the region’s most iconic activities: canyoning with multiple waterfall rappels and an exciting class III rafting run.

Together, we coordinate a seamless and safe adventure day designed for travelers who want a blend of adrenaline and nature.
Your morning begins inside Pure Trek’s private rainforest canyon, where certified guides lead you through a series of five waterfall rappels—175 ft, 85 ft, 79 ft, 39 ft and 75 ft—plus a dry wall rappel and the popular Monkey Drop, a controlled descent that feels like a mini free-fall. Short jungle hikes between rappels give you time to take in the scenery and enjoy the lush canyon environment.
The second part of the Canyoning Waterfall Rappelling and Rafting experience takes you to a class III river with constant, fun rapids. With expert rafting guides, you’ll paddle through lively drops, calm pools and scenic rainforest surroundings. Fresh fruit, snacks and a traditional Costa Rican lunch are included to complete your adventure.
