About the tour
Our La Fortuna night tour takes you into the rainforest after dark with a certified bilingual naturalist. In 1 to 1.5 hours you look for frogs, insects, small mammals and, with some luck, sloths, at an easy pace that works for families. We pick you up near downtown La Fortuna at 5:40 pm, so you only need long pants and closed-toe shoes.
This is a family-friendly experience safe, educational, and ideal for travelers who want to understand the forest in a more authentic way. A short walk, small groups, and clear explanations make it accessible for all ages.
