About the tour

Ride down the San Miguel section on The Sarapiquí River, a class III-IV run with continuous rapids. You will paddle over 30 rapids, many of them being rated class IV where you enjoy a big splash as you ride down.
Throughout the adventure, certified guides share their knowledge of the surrounding ecosystem, pointing out indigenous flora and fauna. The immersive experience combines the thrill of rafting with the awe-inspiring beauty of Sarapiquí River, making it a truly unforgettable rainforest experience.
Transportation near 7 km from la Fortuna downtown. Please make sure you are ready 5 minutes before the pick-up time. Certified guides, equipment, towel, insurance, fruits, snacks, and lunch.

Meeting Point
Request a pickup from your hotel or Airbnb. Please, indicate your preference regarding the booking. Pickups are included inside a perimeter of 7kilometer from downtown La Fortuna. If your hotel is not in that range, an extra fee will be charged according to the location of your hotel.

Cancellation policy
In the event of a cancellation made 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour, we will charge a cancellation fee of 100%.
We will charge a cancelation fee of 50% if the reservation is canceled 48 hours before the tour starts.
